Here, λ is the de Broglie wavelength, h is the Planck’s constant, p is the momentum.
Let λ e is the De Broglie wavelength of electron and λ p is the De Broglie wavelength of proton. Since both electron and proton have same de Broglie wavelength, equation (I) changes to,
h p e = h p p (II)
Since h is same for both electron and proton,
p e = p p
