to find the derivative we will use the quotient rule which says
dydx=vdudxudvdxv2
here v=1+cosx and u=1cosx
dvdx=sinx and dudx=sinx
Step 2
substituting the values in the formula we get
dydx=(1+cosx)(sinx)(1cosx)(sinx)(1+cosx)2
dydx=(1+cosx)(sinx)+(1cosx)(sinx)(1+cosx)2
dydx=sinx[1+cosx+1cisx](1+cosx)2
dydx=2sinx(1+cosx)2
