As the angle of incidence increases, the angle of refraction also increases proportionally to the increase of incidence.

sin ( θ 1 ) n 1 = sin ( θ 2 ) n 2 where θ 1 is the angle of incidence, n 1 is the index of refraction for the original medium, θ 2 is the angle of refraction, and n 2 is the index of refraction.
