The product of x+3 and 2x-1 is ?

Tommy Kerr

We need to find out the product of x+3 and 2x-1
$\left(x+3\right)\left(2x–1\right)=x\left(2x\right)+3\left(2x\right)+x\left(-1\right)+3\left(-1\right)$
$=2{x}^{2}+6x–x–3$
$=2{x}^{2}+5x–3$
Therefore, the product of $x+3$ and $2x-1$ is $2{x}^{2}+5x–3$
