On the Kelvin scale the coldest temperature possible, -273 C, has a value of 0 Kelvin (0 K) and is called the absolute zero. The Kelvin scale does not have negative numbers because there are no temperatures lower than 0 K.
Or in detail attaining temperature below absolute zerois not possible. At the physically impossible-to-reach temperature of zero kelvin, or minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 273.15 degrees Celsius), atoms would stop moving. As such, nothing can be colder than absolute zero on the Kelvin scale.
