Express x in terms of a and b: sin1{2a1+a2}+sin1{2b1+b2}=2tan1x
I tried to expand the LHS using the formula
sin1c+sin1d=sin1(c1+d2+d1+c2)
But it didn't work out. Could anyone help me out?

Divide both sides by 2, then using the arctan(x)=yx=tan(y) you will get that
x=tan(arcsin(2a1+a2)+arcsin(2b1+b2)2)
