no of farmers = 8
no of farms each farmer had = 8 therefore, total no of farms $=8×8=64$
no of dogs each farm had = 8 therefore, total no of dogs $=64×8=512$
no of puppies each dog had = 8 therefore, total no of puppies $=512×8=4096$
no of fleas each puppy had = 8 therefore, total no of fleas $=4096×8=32,768$
total no of legs of 512 dogs $=512×4=2048$ total no of legs of 4096 puppies $=4096×4=16384$ total no of legs of 32768 fleas $=32768×6=131072$
Hence, total number of legs present $=2048+16384+131072=149,504$ legs

Farmers: 8 Each farmer had 8 farms: 8x8=64 farms Each farm had 8 dogs: 64x8=512 dogs Each dog had 8 puppies: 512x8=4096 puppies Each puppy had 8 fleas: 4096x8=32,768 fleas 8 farmers x 2 legs each = 16 legs 512 dogs x 4 legs each = 2048 legs 4096 puppies x 4 legs each= 16,384 legs 32,768 fleas x 6 legs each = 196,608 legs 16+2048+16,384+196,608= 215, 056 legs There are a total of 215,056 legs!
