y = 2 ( x + 3 ) 10 y = 2 x + 6 10 y = 2 x 4
it is of the form :- y = mx + c
where m = slope and c = y - intercept
so from compairing, we get , m = 2 , c = -4
so slope of the line = 2
the line is given as
y = 2 ( x + 3 ) 10 y + 10 = 2 ( x + 3 )
this equation of line is written in point slope form , i.e.,
y y 1 = m ( x x 1 )
where m = slope
and this line means, a line joining the points, (x,y) and ( x 1 , y 1 )
so from comparison, we get :-
y 1 = 10 x 1 = 3
so apparent point = (-3,-10)
