we know that isoceles triangle has 2 equal sides
let base be b and equal sides be x mm
so b = 2 + 1/3*x , also the perimeter is sum of all sides which is b +2x
so 2+1/3*x +2x = 16
5x = 14*3
x = 8.4 , so
b = 2 + (1/3)*8.4 = 4.8 mm
so base is 4.8 mm and equal sides are 8.4 mm
