Suppose the field is zero at r from  2.5μC charge

hence,

k(2.5)/r2=k(6.0)/(1+r)2

(1+r)2/r2=2.4

(1+r)/r=±1.55

r= 1.818 m, when positive sign is considered

r=-0.39m
