We will factor each of the denominators 35 and 56 into its primes.
Prime factors of these numbers are shown below:
$35=5\cdot 7$
$56=2\cdot 2\cdot 2\cdot 7$
Now we will take common numbers along with the remaining numbers
The common number is 7.
Therefore $LCD=2\cdot 2\cdot 2\cdot 5\cdot 7$
$=280$
