Let V be the iceberg's volume and x be the proportion of that volume that is above the water.
Using law of floatation,
Weight of the floating body = Weight of liquid displaced by part of the floating body inside the liquid.
Thus, V ρ i c e g = ( 1 x ) V ρ w a t e r g
Using the value of ρ i c e  and  ρ w a t e r , we get
( 1 x ) = 900 1030 x = 13 103
