Given fraction is 1 11 .
1 11 = 1 11 × 100 100
= ( 100 11 ) × 1 100
= ( 9 1 11 ) × 1 100
= ( 9 + 1 11 ) × 1 100
= 9 100 + 1 1100 . . . ( 1 )
Now, 1 1100 = 1 11 × 100
= ( 1 11 ) × 1 100 . . . . . . . ( 2 )
From (1), 1 11 = 1 100 + 1 1100 ; substitute it in eq (2).
1 1100 = ( 9 100 + 1 1100 ) × 1 100
9 10000 + 1 110000
Now substituting this value in eq(1), we get
1 11 + 9 100 + ( 9 10000 + 1 110000 )
= ( 9 100 + 9 10000 ) + 1 110000 )
Similarly finding the value of 1 11000 = ( 1 11 × 1 10000 )
and on solving that will give 9 1000000 = 1 11000000
