Step 1
Well, if: x = 2 + 3 t then t = x - 2 3
and if y = 4 + t , then t = y - 4
so
y - 4 = x - 2 3
3 y - 12 = x - 2
3 y = x + 10
y = x + 10 3
or, in slope-intercept form:
y = 1 3 x + 10 3
with slope ( 1 3 ) and y-intercept ( 10 3 )
