The equation for a normal curve is given by:
f ( x ) = 1 σ 2 π e ( x μ ) 2 / 2 σ 2
If σ 1 = σ 2 and μ 1 μ 2 then f 1 ( x ) = f 2 ( x )
i.e. both functions are same.
