The area of the given rectangle is
Ar=l×b
=21×7
=147cm2
The radius of the circles will be r=72cm
The area of a circle will be
A=πr2
=π(72)2
=38.48cm2
So the area of the three circles will be
AC=115.45cm2
So the area of shaded region is the difference between the area of rectangle and area of circles,
A=ARAC
=147115.45
=31.6cm2
