If ( x m , y m ) is the mid-point between ( x 1 , y 1 ) and ( x 2 , y 2 )
then
XXX ( x 2 - x m ) = ( x m - x 1 ) xxx xxx x 2 = x m + ( x m - x 1 )
and
XXX ( y 2 - y m ) = ( y m - y 1 ) ) xxx xxx y 2 = y m + ( x m - y 1 )
In this case
XXX ( x m - x 1 ) = 5 - 3 = 2 xxxxxxxx xxx x 2 = 5 + 2 = 7
and
XXX ( y m - y 1 ) = - 11 - 5 = - 16 xx xxx y 2 = - 11 + ( - 16 ) = - 27
