S R is a line segment with R at ( 9 , 7 ) and the midpoint of (let's call it T ) at ( 5 , 4 )
Let the coordinates of S be ( x s , y s )
Since T is the midpoint of S R
( y at R ) - ( y at T ) = ( y at T ) - ( y at S )
That is
7 - 4 = 4 - y s
y s = 1
Similarly for x s
9 - 5 = 5 - x s
x s = 1
The coordinates of S are ( 1 , 1 )
