Hint: Substituting
y ( x ) = x v ( x )
then we get
d v ( x ) d x = v ( x ) 2 + 1
Can you finish? From
y = x v ( x )
we get
x ( v ( x ) + x v ( x ) ) x v ( x ) = x 2 + x 2 v ( x )
