Cluster Sampling :
Suppose there are several groups present in the population. In Cluster sampling, these groups are called as clusters. And the sampling units are the clusters in the population.
While getting a sample using cluster sampling technique, the simple random sample of clusters are taken then all the units in the sample are taken for the study.
