Based on inferential statistics, the researches concluded that those in the Counseling group had more violations at follow-up than those in the Gabay group. What is the sampling technique used?

Given info:
Professor Arig randomly assigned 105 male students who had been referred to the Guidance Center, after a violation of university rules. Students were assigned to undergo (1) Counseling, (2) Gabay, a developed intervention in which the students go through series of activities and the material used is related to the students' own experiences. Based on inferential statistics, the researchers concluded that those in the Counseling group had more violations at follow-up than those in the Gabay group.
Sampling methods:
In simple random sampling, all the units in the population have equal chance of being selected as a sample.
In Stratified random sampling, the population is divided into groups based on a characteristic. Then, sample would be selected from each of the sub-population using random method.
In cluster random sampling, the population is divided into groups and one of the groups is selected at random. All the units in the selected group (cluster) are considered as sample.
In systematic random sampling, first sample is selected at random. Then every kth unit is selected as sample. The value of k is obtained by dividing population size by sample size.
The sampling technique used in the given scenario is Stratified random sampling.
