Now, solving further,
Splitting the function from 0 to π2 and π2 to π and we know that cosx is postive for 0 to π2 and negtaive for π2 to π .
I=0π2cosxdxπ2πcosxdx
=[sinx]0π2[sinx]π2π
=[sinπ2sin0][sinπsinπ2]
=1-0-0+1
=2
