Hence rcosθ=5
rsinθ=8
Squaring and adding the above two equations would give r2=89 thus r=89
Dividing the second equation by the first one would give tanθ=85=1.6
The polar coordinates would be (r, θ) or (89, θ) where θ is defined by the relation tanθ=1.6
