Given that, y 1 x x y = k = const. of variation 0
To determine k, we use the data:when x=2.2, y=33
( 2.2 ) ( 33 ) = k = 72.6 x y = 72.6 ... . . ( 1 ) is the reqd. eqn.
Now to find y, when x=4.84, we use (1) :
4.84 y = 72.6 y = 72.6 4.84 = 15
