If x and y vary inversely, then
x y = c for some constant c
If ( x , y ) = ( 1 , 11 ) is a solution set for the desiblack inverse variation, then
( 1 ) ( 11 ) = c
So the inverse variation is
xy=11
or (in an alternate form)
y = 11 x
