A red ball anda green ball are simultaneously tossed into the air. The red ballis given an initial velocity of 96 feet per second, and itsheight tseconds after it is tossedis $16{t}^{2}96t$ feet. The green ball is given an initial velocity of 80feet per second, and its height t seconds after it is tossed is $16{t}^{2}80t$ feet.a)Find a polynomial D(t) thatrepresents the difference in the heights of the two balls.
b) How muchhigher is the red ball 2 seconds after the balls are tossed?
I have no idea how to goabout this. If anyone can explain how to do this and give solutionI would be very greatful.

a) $D\left(t\right)=\left(-16{t}^{2}+96t\right)-\left(-16{t}^{2}+80t\right)=16t$
b) After 2 seconds, the difference in the heights of the twoballs is D(2).
Hence D(2) = 16(2) = 32 feet.
