Quadratic formula is: $x=\frac{-b±\sqrt{{b}^{2}-4ac}}{2a}$
Here, a=3, b=−3 and c=−4
So,
$x=\frac{-3\left(-3\right)±\sqrt{{\left(-3\right)}^{2}-4×3×\left(-4\right)}}{2×3}$
$x=\frac{3±\sqrt{9+48}}{6}$
$x=\frac{3±\sqrt{57}}{6}$
Therefore, solutions are
$x=\frac{3+\sqrt{57}}{6}\phantom{\rule{1em}{0ex}}\text{and}\phantom{\rule{1em}{0ex}}x=\frac{3-\sqrt{57}}{6}$
