First term is a = 6
Common ratio is r = 12 6 = 2
Thus, this is a geometric sequence
Formula for the n-th term:
a n = a r n 1

Hence,
a n = 6 ( 2 ) n 1 , n 1

2) 18 , 25 , 32 , . . .
First term is a = 18
Common difference is d = 7
Thus, it’s an arithmetic sequence
Formula for the n-th term:
a n = a + ( n 1 ) d

Hence,
a n = 18 + ( n 1 ) 7
a n = 18 + 7 n 7
a n = 11 + 7 n , n 1
