A quadratic equation has $x=-3-5i$ as a solution and passes through the point (-1,4), Write the quadratic equation in standard form.

Ourst1977

Step 1
Given:
$x=3-5i$
$5i=3-x$
Standard both side
$-25={\left(3-x\right)}^{2}=9+{x}^{2}-6x$
${x}^{2}-6x+34=0$
At $x=1$
$y={x}^{2}-6x+3y$
$y\left(-1\right)={\left(-1\right)}^{2}-6x\left(-1\right)+34$
$=1+6+34$
$=41$
It is passing through the coordinate , check if you have written mistakenly.
