Consider the following quadratic function. a
f(x)=3x2+4x7
Find the vertex.
I end up getting 0.66 and obviously trying to plug that back in to the equation is not working

Here, a=3, b=4, c=7
xν=42(3)
xν=23
Substitute x=23 in the function
yν=3(23)2+4(23)7
yν=43+837
yν=173
Hence, the vertex of the function
(xν,yν)=(23,173)
