Write 25 as

5^{2}

so that each side have the same base

5^{2} x - 2 = {(5^{2})}^{3} x - 1

5^{2} x - 2 = 5^{2} (3 x - 1)

By one-to-one property,
2x−2=2(3x−1)
Solve for x:
2x−2=6x−2
−4x−2=−2
−4x=0
x=0
