In order to find the y-intercept b of any function f ( x ) is f ( 0 )
So, the y-intercept of f ( x ) = a x 2 + b x + c is
f ( 0 ) = a ( 0 ) 2 + b ( 0 ) + c = c
The y-intercept is a quadratic function's constant term (c).
