Take a solution of copper sulphate (blue), add some iron nails, and let it sit for approximately an hour to demonstrate that iron is more reactive than copper.
Observations: The surface of the iron develops a brown coating, and the color of the copper sulphate solution has changed from blue to light green.
The strong reactivity of iron results in copper displacement and the formation of iron sulfate solution (light green).
