Volume of the cork, V = 25 c m 3
Density of cork, d = 0.25 g c m 3
Mass of cork = ?
Using formula of density,
D e n s i t y ( d ) = m a s s ( m ) v o l u m e ( V )
0.25 g c m 3 = m a s s ( m ) 25 c m 3
So, m a s s ( m ) = 0.25 g c m 3 × 25 c m 3 = 6.25 g
Therefore, mass(𝑚) of cork = 6.25 g
