We know:
wavelenght of the wave λ : 1.5 m frequency of the string ν : 440   H z = 440 1 s
We need to work out the speed of the wave v.
Formula for wave's speed is:
v = λ ν
We just have to insert initial values:
v = 1.5 m 440 1 s = 660 m s v = 660 m s
