x + 2x - 20 o + 3x - 10 o = 180 o
3x - 20 o + 3x - 10 o = 180 o
6x - 30 o = 180 o
add 30 o to both sides
6x - 30 o + 30 o = 180 o + 30 o
6x = 210 o
dividing both sides by 6
6x /6 = 210 o / 6
x = 35 o
