The common difference is
d = 20 - 16 = 4 or
d = 24 - 20 = 4

The 17th term can be obtained by formula
a n = a 1 + ( n - 1 ) d

a 1 = 16 , d=4 and n=17

So,
a 17 = a 1 + ( 17 - 1 ) 4
= 16 + 16 4
a 17 = 80
