Every electromagnetic wave of the following rule:
c = f λ
Where c is the light speed c = 3 10 8 m s , f the frequency of the wave and λ is the wavelength.
The remote controller emits an electromagnetic wave that has a wavelength of 940 nm, using the aforementioned formula we have:
f = c λ = 3 10 8 940 10 9 = 3.19 10 14 H z
