Let us first write the equation of line 4x−2y=6 to slope intercept form y=mx+c, where m is slope of the line and c is intercept formed by the line on y-axis.
As 4x−2y=6, we have 2y=4x−6 and y=2x−3 and hence slope of the line is 2.
As the product of slopes of two lines perpendicular to each other is −1,
