In a geometric sequence, you have to multiply (or divide) with a constant number.
If the sequence was −1,5,−25,125..., it would have been a geometric sequence, because you are always multiplying by (−5).
In the sequence (1,5,−25,125), you start by multiplying by 5, followed by multiplying with (−5)
Its not a geometric sequence
