To calculate the average value of a function f on an interval [ a , b ] you have to compute
F ( b ) F ( a ) b a
Where F ( x ) = f ( x )
So if you want to compute the average from [ a , b ]: you can’t just add individual averages that is a v g [ a , c ] + a v g [ c , b ]
