For generalized Pythagoras theorem, we have:
d 2 = ( x 2 - x 1 ) 2 + ( y 2 - y 1 ) 2 + ( z 2 - z 1 ) 2
where ( x 1 , y 1 , z 1 ) and ( x 2 , y 2 , z 2 ) are both points.
Hence:
d 2 = ( - 4 - 3 ) 2 + ( 0 - ( - 1 ) ) 2 + ( 2 - 1 ) 2 = 51
And taking square roots:
d = 51
