Easier way to divide a fraction by a fraction.
Say this is the problem:
3 / 8 4 / 5
As of right now, I would multiply both fractions by 40 then simplify to get 15 32
Or I would multiply 3 8 and 5 4 to get the same result.
Is there a better way to do this?

Factorising this formula
I came across this simplification in an iTunes U calculus course.
1 x 0 + δ x 1 x 0 δ x = 1 δ x ( x 0 ( x 0 + δ x ) ( x 0 + δ x ) x 0 )
I didn't understand how this was done. I can see the denominator being taken out for 1 δ x but do not understand the remainder. Can someone give me some guidance? Thanks
