by substituting f(x) into the previous one
x 1 = f ( x 0 ) = f ( 2 ) = 9 ( 2 ) - 2 = 16
x 2 = f ( x 1 ) = 9 ( 16 ) - 2 = 142
x 3 = f ( x 2 ) = f ( 142 ) = 9 ( 142 ) - 2 = 1276
