There isn't an easy choice here so just chose a variable to solve. Lets go with x.
0.5x=-3.2y+9
x=-6.4y+18 I got this by dividing both sides by 0.5 which is thesame as multiplying by 2
Now that you know x, plug that into the second equation to get
0.2(-6.4y+18)-1.6y=-3.6 Now simplify
-1.28y+3.6-1.6y=-3.6 Now simplify and solve for y
Once you have y, plug that back into the equation and then solve for x
