Daily rental change = $28
Per mile charge $=0.40
Let 'x' mile was driven in a day. Then , total cost =$208
28 + ( 0.40 x ) = 208 0.40 x = 208 28 0.40 x = 180 x = 180 0.4 × 10 x = 90 × 5 x = 450
