Sampling technique is the selection of individuals from within a population to estimate features of the whole population.
It is a type of stratified sampling as data is divided into 2 strata's of male and female.
It is not Simple Random Sampling as in this sampling technique each item has equal chance of getting selected.
It is not Systematic Sampling as it is used to select samples at a particular point of interval.
It is not cluster sampling as it is a sampling technique where we have natural groups dividing the population into clusters.
