1 + x 6 = 1 + ( x 2 ) 3 which is equivalent to
( 1 + x 2 ) ( x 4 + 1 x 2 ) using a 3 + b 3 = ( a + b ) ( a 2 + b 2 a b )
Hence the expression becomes
( 1 + x 2 ) ( x 4 + 1 x 2 ) 1 + x 2 = ( x 4 + 1 x 2 ) .
