A bar magnet is initially far trom a circular loop or wire. Ihe magnet is moved at constant speed along the axis of the loop. It moves toward the loop, proceeds to pass through it, and then continues until it is far away on the right side of the loop. Sketch a qualitative graph of the current in the loop as a function of the position of the bar magnet Take the current to be positive when it is counterclockwise.

The magnetic field increase as the car magnet moves from 1 to 2 and according to the right-hand rule since the magnetic field is directed to the left then the induced current will e generated in a clockwise direction to oppose the change producing it.
In the other case where the magnet is moving from 2 to 3 then the magnetic field is decreasing, therefore, the induced current will be flowing in a counterclockwise direction.
Result:
Clockwise, then Counterclockwise.
