Cluster sampling:
In cluster sampling the whole population is divided into different sections or clusters. From these sections some are randomly selected and all the subjects from the selected sections are taken into the sample.
They have 10 volunteers. To conduct the study, researchers randomly assign a number 1 to 2 each volunteer. Volunteers who are assigned number 1 get Treatment 1 and volunteers who assigned number 2 get Treatment 2.
That is volunteers are divided into two groups and treatments are applied to the entire group. Thus, the sampling involved in the situation is cluster sampling.
